What are the sizes of Sunny Day Clay’s pieces?
- Most earrings are in the range of 1-3 inches in length. More accurate measurements are found on each listing.
- Barrettes are approximately 2.5 inches long with a full closure clasp.
- Small Trinket trays are approximately 3 inches in diameter.
- Large Trinket trays are 9 x 4 inches (aka the size of a loaf pan😉)
- Seasonal items (ornaments) vary and will be notated on the listing itself.
What is Polymer Clay?
- Polymer clay is a plastic product with some similar properties as natural clay. This means I am very careful about waste and my end result products are very durable!
- When finished and cured, polymer clay is durable and flexible. I always check the flexibility and quality of my pieces when they’re ready. I do this so that you don’t have to! I highly recommend you do not bend or distort your pieces or drop them unnecessarily... they are durable but not invincible!
- Polymer clay can be slightly unpredictable. Your new piece from Sunny Day Clay is carefully handmade. This means there may be some slight imperfections such as small air bubbles, or a difference in color from online to in-person. These imperfections enhance the overall aesthetics of the design. Being handmade means perfectly imperfect. This makes every single piece truly unique!
Are your metal findings and stud backs allergy friendly?
- All of the metal stud pieces (both hidden studs and the hanging ball stud pieces) are Stainless Steel.
- Any exposed brass pieces that do not directly touch the earlobe are either raw brass which has been shined or gold plated brass. This is fine for most people and is noted as “relatively allergy-free”
- Any exposed silver pieces that do not directly touch the earlobe are stainless steel or silver plated.
What are your shipping policies and procedures?
- Since Sunny Day pieces are one of a kind, what you see in the listing photo is the item you will receive. This allows us to ship quickly; usually 1-2 business days.
- USPS ground shipping in the U.S typically takes 3-5 business days.
- International shipping normally takes 5-10 days (depending on customs).
- All my shipping items are recyclable! Please please feel free to reuse or recycle!
Do you offer returns/exchanges?
- I do not offer returns or exchanges due to hygiene issues.
- If there is a production flaw or some kind of defect, please email and we will discuss a solution on a case by case basis and at my discretion.
